This
house looks small but lives big. Comfortably accommodates up to
six for family vacations, or for fishing, hunting or skiing getaways.
It's a two-minute stroll to the beach (opens for swimming weekends
beginning Memorial Day weekend, daily from June 18 through Labor
Day). Air-conditioned (window unit) for added comfort.
Big
Bass Lake is a secure, upscale, private community in quaint, historic
Gouldsboro, built around three pristine lakes popular for swimming,
fishing, and boating (no gas motors). Our boats are available for
your use. There are two beaches, indoor and outdoor heated swimming
pools, courts for tennis, basketball, horseshoes, shuffleboard,
and bocce, a recreation center with activities for all ages, a slope
for beginner skiing and snow tubing, and much more... all on site.
Deer, wild turkey, birds, and waterfowl abound. And, within a 30-minute
drive you will find the prime attractions of the scenic Pocono Mountains,
Pennsylvania's vacation paradise.
BIG
BASS LAKE IS A 4-SEASON VACATION COMMUNITY. In the fall, visitors
enjoy spectacular foliage (usually best Sept. 20-Oct.20), hiking
and biking, fishing, hunting, and excursions to local attractions.
This is probably the best season to enjoy tens of thousands of acres
of state parks and gamelands accessible within less than 10 miles
of Big Bass Lake. Winter enthusiasts find this a prime area for
skiing, snow-boarding, tubing, cross country skiing, ice-fishing,
and hunting; there's usually lots of snow. Spring is for those who
like surprises, as it can seem like winter one day, sunny and warm
the next. And summer is delightful: warm days for water sports and
other outdoor activities, cool nights for refreshing sleep.

Skiing Information:
You can ski at Big Bass Lake and rent skis at the ski shop. There is also
snow tubing and a ski lift. Big Bass Lake offers discount lift tickets
for most major ski resorts and you can rent your ski's at a discount at
Big Bass and take them out to any ski resort of your choice.
Golf Information:
There are several places to golf in the area the closest being Paradise

PLEASE
NOTE: We do not normally allow pets, and we do not permit smoking
inside our properties. Also note that 6 persons overnight is the
limit permitted for this property. RENTORS MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS
OLD.
Weekly rentals
run from Saturday 4 pm to following Saturday 11 am. Weekend rentals
run from Friday to Sunday (2 nights), usually with flexible check-in
and check-out times. Additional days can be negotiated when available!
ADD 15% TO POSTED RATES FOR RENTALS INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING HOLIDAYS
OR HOLIDAY WEEKENDS: NEW YEAR'S, PRESIDENTS' DAY, MEMORIAL DAY,
LABOR DAY, THANKSGIVING,CHRISTMAS. Midweek rental may be available;
call and ask.
Amenities Badges
(per person age six and above): $8/day or $35/week - required by
Big Bass Lake Community Association if you will be using community
facilities: lakes, pools, beaches, courts, clubhouse, ski slope,
etc.
