"FLEX SCHEDULING" is offered on all four of our Big Bass Lake properties. This means that you can rent for a week or more starting ANY DAY of the week, for a weekend arriving FRIDAY or SATURDAY, or for a MIDWEEK RENTAL of two, three, four or five nights, or ANY COMBINATION of the above. In other words, YOUR SCHEDULE, not our convenience, dictates when you arrive and depart.

"PACK LIGHT VACATIONS" means that all you need to bring is your clothing, personal items, and something to eat. WE PROVIDE bed linens (beds made up), towels, dishes, glassware, pots and pans, utensils, paper towels, toilet tissue, facial tissue, paper napkins, bath soap, soft-soap, dishwasher detergent, dishwashing liquid, scouring pads, laundry detergent, fabric softener, trash bags, plastic wrap, aluminum foil, salt, pepper, sugar, firewood, kindling, matches, flashlights, extra light bulbs, fans, two propane tanks for the grill, and - if needed - portacribs and high chairs.

Why can we do this? BECAUSE WE LIVE HERE AND MANAGE OUR OWN PROPERTIES. We are not bound by the schedule of a rental agent or by the limitations faced by an absentee owner. This two-story prow-front chalet is just a short walk from the beach and marina. It is rustic and homey, but features every contemporary convenience you will need. Ideal for one and two family vacations, small reunions, retreats, or business/vacation getaways. Here, the pace slows, but the heart comes alive.

Big Bass Lake is a secure, upscale, private community in quaint, historic Gouldsboro, built around three pristine lakes popular for swimming, fishing, and boating (no gas motors). It features two beaches, indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools, courts for tennis, basketball, horseshoes, shuffleboard, and bocce, a recreation center with activities for all ages, a slope for beginning skiing and snow tubing, and much more... all on site. Deer, wild turkey, birds, and waterfowl abound. And, within a 30-minute drive you will find the prime attractions of the scenic Pocono Mountains, Pennsylvania's vacation paradise.

BIG BASS LAKE IS A 4-SEASON VACATION COMMUNITY. In the fall, visitors enjoy spectacular fall foliage(usually best Sept. 20-Oct. 20), hiking and biking, fishing, hunting, and excursions to local attractions. This is probably the best season to enjoy tens of thousands of acres of state parks and gamelands accessible within less than 10 miles of Big Bass Lake. Winter enthusiasts find this a prime area for skiing, snow-boarding, tubing, cross country skiing, ice-fishing, and hunting; there's usually lots of snow. Spring is for those who like surprises, as it can seem like winter one day, sunny and warm the next. And summer is delightful: warm days for water sports and other outdoor activities, cool nights for refreshing sleep.

Skiing Information: You can ski at Big Bass Lake and rent skis at the ski shop. There is also snow tubing and a ski lift. Big Bass Lake offers discount lift tickets for most major ski resorts and you can rent your ski's at a discount at Big Bass and take them out to any ski resort of your choice.

Golf Information: There are several places to golf in the area the closest being Paradise Golfing.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not normally allow pets, and we do not permit smoking inside our properties. Also note that 12 is the limit permitted for this property. Rentors must be at least 21 years old.

Weekly rentals run from Saturday 4 pm to following Saturday 11 am. Weekend rentals run from Friday to Sunday (2 nights), usually with flexible check-in and check-out times. ADD 15% TO POSTED RATES FOR RENTALS INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING HOLIDAYS OR HOLIDAY WEEKENDS: NEW YEAR'S, PRESIDENTS' DAY, MEMORIAL DAY, LABOR DAY, THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS WEEKENDS. Additional days can be negotiated when available! Midweek rentals are often available; call and ask.
