120 acre reserve that was donated for the preservation of wildlife by
long time county resident Clayton Swink. 2 1/2 miles of maintained and
well marked trails.

Pocono
Environmental Education Center ( PEEC)
The largest residential center in the Western Hemisphere for education
about the environment. More then 25,000 people stay and study at PEEC
each year. PEEC's "classroom" consists of a 38-acre campus
within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, and access to
over a quarter of a million acres of public land. A unique partnership
between PEEC and the National Park Service has made the "classroom"
possible.

Cranberry Bog
About 3,000 acres in size, Promised Land State Park is in the Pocono
Plateau, 1,800 feet above sea level, and is surrounded by 12,464 acres
of Pennsylvania's Delaware State Forest, including natural areas. The
forests of the park consist primarily of beech, oak, maple and hemlock
trees. Two lakes and several small streams add to the park's outstanding
scenic beauty. Campround and cabins located on-site.
